Lifestyle: Honestly I like where I live its country without being to rural...I wish that it were more famiy centered and less catered to military folks but It's growing. Its a great place to raise a family and property values are fairly good...I'm 3.5 hrs away from Dallas and 1.5 away from OKC.. two fairly big cities
Honestly I'm a bit confused in this area Im content but not truly satisfied....if that makes any sense

WORK: So I actually Love the aspects of my job.. I'm a non-profit Program Director.. I love that I get to help people in my community especially those in need. The only caveat to it is that its fairly low paying. I make just enough to where i can not qualify for state aid (Thank YOU) I also dislike that I work in an office where they are "used" to doing things.. and when I say or do something new its such a big shock (Dang OK - RED STATE)

Education: I'm very Proud of what I've accomplished thus far... BA and MS not to bad.... I would LOVE to go further maybe Ph. D or even licensure as a counselor or full on MD

Finances: THIS is the AREA of my life that needs the MOST work!!! I make just enough to not live check to check but I do NOT Follow my monthly budget and I am the QUEEN of bill juggling! UGH and this is something I HATE with a passion... I NEED to exercise more self control!

HEALTH: I feel like I've been to complacent in this area. I'm fairly healthy but I could be HEALTHIER! Since college Ive gained way more lbs that I'd like to admit but I'm slowly conquering my love of food and Eating to live not to EAT! If i can MAster the Eating Clean lifestyle I'll be very Happy!

FAMILY: This is m kinda LOVE/ HATE thing here... My immediate family sisters, children parents ..I LOVE and would DO anything within my POWER for them. MY other family cousins, aunts uncles I can not stand.....I think they all fit every stereotype I felt I was running away from when I went to college- Drunk, cant live w/o men, poor self esteem, bad health, and GOSSIP-Y. I choose not to deal with them directly if I can help it.. but in a small town sometimes it hard

Now this is a tough one... I had convinced my self at some point within the last 3 yrs that I was ok being single and that I was getting to know my self... I believe that this is true. I also dont believe that I' less of a women or mom if I want or feel like I need a man (partner). 1. I feel like I'm short changin my girls a father figure!!!! (I've meet a really great man that so far is GREAT)
With friends I feel like I have a very solid INNER circle that no time space or distance can separate Us... I recently took a really long look at some of the people that i was continuously associating myself with and realized that by continuing to speak or interact I was condoning their RATCHET-NESS and DRAMA and bringing it into my life...Since withdrawing I've been much more centered (maybe selfish but Eh!)

Henna aplication #1

My first attempt to henna was not as successful as I would like! First I forgot that it needed to be mixed with something acidic ugh so when applied I'm not sure weather or not I've seen some conditioning process from it will try again though.
I did not like how it left my hair feeling really stripped n kinda dirty. This package left deposits in my hair that were very hard to get out later!

DAY 25: Daniel FAST

SO in my efforts to lose weight I started a Daniel Fast with my church on Sunday 04/10/11. At that time my weight was to e uncontrolled.... Im 27, 5'2 and weighed 155lbs....111 days of NO meat, dairy, sweetners, FATS and processed foods and I am feeling and i might say so LOOKING GOOD!

This is taking my EAT CLEAN to a whole new level! after the initial 21 days I am gonna continue and maybe slowly introduce so dairy like eggs and milk but all in all Im not hungry and Im not missing the JUNK like i thought i Would!

AFTER 25 days I have lost 3 inches and maintain a weight of 150lbs.

SO in my efforts to lose weight I started a Daniel Fast with my church on Sunday 04/10/11. At that time my weight was to me uncontrolled.... Im 27, 5'2 and weighed 155lbs....11 days of NO meat, dairy, sweetners, FATS and processed foods and I am feeling and i might say so LOOKING GOOD!

This is taking my EAT CLEAN to a whole new level! after the initial 21 days I am gonna continue and maybe slowly introduce so dairy like eggs and milk but all in all Im not hungry and Im not missing the JUNK like i thought i Would!

OK So dont laugh at me looking crazy... But I have super OILY skin so whenever I m out an about i look for primers that might help to combat this problem. Rimmels is fairly CHEAP compared to most and you know what it worked longer for me then most! since its tinted it actually blended well and didnt make me look ASHY of CAKEY like some can! For $8 bux i def recommend for the new to make-up person!

Detox WEEK 03/21-03/26..

My diet consisted of the SAME thing for 6 days straight.. WATER... Oatmeal for Breakfast, Kale salad for lunch , orange , banana for snacks and Shake for dinner!
And I lost 3.5 inches int he waist.....Paired with 3 day workout outs n small HiiT activities throughout the week!

Eating Clean: Breakfast

So breakfast consists of Organic oatmeal which contained flaxseeds n whole grains found at walmart for 2.00 back of 10-12.... I mix it with one chopped apple the other morning this morning i mixed it with mashed whole banana. When made correctly its not very grainy feeling and isnt Mushy like some instant oatmeal!

So after looking at my workout schedule and REALIZing that Im far far far away fromt he goal i had set its now time for me to make some major adjustments! menaing DIET time oh and for those who observe LENT this will also be useful!

Clean eating is not a new concept. At its most basic, clean eating is making the healthiest food choices possible, opting for fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean cuts of meat instead of processed and refined foods. To eat clean, there are a few easy principles to follow.

Clean Eating Principles
•Eating a mini-meal every two to three hours (5 to 6 small meals per day total) to keep blood sugar level and prevent hunger
•Combining lean proteins and complex carbs at every meal
•Avoiding all over-processed and refined foods (especially sugar, white rice, and white flour)
•Avoiding saturated and trans fat, instead consuming healthy fats
•Avoiding soda and other sugary juices and drinks
•Avoiding high-calorie, zero nutrient foods (i.e., junk food)
•Eating proper portion sizes
•Drinking at least 8 cups of water every day
