Remembering 9/11

My parents shared not only an improbable love, they shared an abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation. They would give me an African name, Barack, or blessed, believing that in a tolerant America your name is no barrier to success.

I am a firm believer that our past influences and marks our futures. So on this day I Promise to reflect on my past and not relive it but keep it in mind when I'm preparing for the present and OUR future. With this I Pray for forgiveness, patience and LOVE for everyone...
